Dieses Jahr dürfen wir zum Höhenpunkt unserer Irischen Nächten Sie zum Kozert der bekannten Schweizer Band begrüssen, welche den Irish Folk wirklich verinnerlicht hat. Und natürlich fehlt es nicht an Guiness, Kilkeney, Cidar, hausgemachten Snacks und bombastischer Stimmung.
"When we started playing Irish traditional folk back in 2010, we soon realized that this would not be just another temporary musical experiment. Over the past three years we have taken part in numerous sessions along the West Coast of Ireland and have tried to find our way through the thousands of unknown tunes and songs that were played every night. At home we would listen to Dervish, Lunasa and Solas, eagerly trying to adapt their interpretation and style into our own playing. It has been an inspiring and exceptionally satisfying musical journey. But along the road we had to acknowledge, too, that we are and always will be different from these bands. Though deeply in love with Irish music and culture, it is not our own. It was not easy to face these limitations. But in the end it set us free for our very own musical journey. "
